Western Australia publishes every servo's price, every day, for free: on Tuesday 6 October FuelWatch lists 936 sites with unleaded, from 217.3 to 450.0 c/L, with a state median of 233.9. The dots on the map are those sites; the colour is the price.
The system rests on one rule: a retailer must notify tomorrow's price by 2pm and keep it for 24 hours from 6am. That turns the evening into a planning window; between 2:30pm and midnight both today's and tomorrow's lists are public.
Distance does the rest. Metro Perth is the cheapest region most days; the Kimberley and the Pilbara are the dearest, and a single remote roadhouse can sit 150 cents above a Perth discounter.
